Apoteksgruppen & Kronans Apotek accept digital ID card

More and more companies are starting to accept our digital ID card.
With over 850 000 active users, more and more companies are choosing to accept the digital ID card from BankID. Postnord and DHL has been up and running since before the summer, and now Apoteksgruppen and Kronans Apotek have announced that they also will accept the ID card as identification.
This means that you from now on can use your digital ID card to pick up prescription medicine or pre-ordered goods at all Apoteksgruppen and Kronans Apotek pharmacies in Sweden.
More than 850 000 users
The digital ID card from BankID was launched before the summer and has already been activated by over 850,000 users. It is a new way to identify yourself in physical environments and makes it easier for users who only carries their smartphones with them.
High security
The digital ID card is also easy to validate thanks to added security details. When you tap the screen, the picture will blur where tapped and a sound will be played. The sound will change depending on how long you press the screen. These effects will help the person controlling the digital ID card to ensure that it's active and not a fake still image.
Age verification
A digital ID card is a secure way to verify a person's age, for example when buying age-controlled products such as energy drinks or alcoholic beverages.
