Almedalen 2025
2025-06-13
Cybersecurity and resilience, digital inclusion and collaboration. Read our take aways from this year's Almedalen.

The key to a secure future
We are convinced that a strong collaboration between the private and public sectors is needed for our society to withstand digital threats. Sweden's future security is close to our hearts and during this year's Almedalen, we took the opportunity to bring together representatives from the public sector, politics and business for lunch to have a joint dialog about the cybersecurity situation in Sweden and the way forward.
We talked about how a robust digital defense for the Swedish population requires joint forces. And we strongly emphasized the importance of collaboration between the private and public sectors. By sharing knowledge, resources and strategies, together we can meet complex digital challenges more effectively. It's through partnerships that we can build a safer and more resilient digital society for all.
It can happen to anyone, preparations is everything
We highlighted the importance of businesses working proactively to strengthen their cybersecurity. The reality today is that denial-of-service attacks affect all organizations with a digital presence. And it's not just about protecting your own organization, it's also about securing customers' and users' data and trust.
We shared insights and concrete examples of how companies can build up their digital resilience and contribute to a more secure digital ecosystem. Here are some of the things mentioned:
Preparations is everything, practice realistic scenarios
Build relations with important partners, you're gonna need it when the crisis happens
Invest in your people, make sure to have the right competencies
To summerize
Almedalen provides a fantastic opportunity for discussions and conversations, and opportunities to gain perspective and understanding of different activities. As a critical infrastructure with security work going on 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, we are proud to drive cybersecurity in Sweden forward by contributing with knowledge, experience and insights.
