The board of Finansiell ID-Teknik announces that Johan Eriksson leaves his position as CEO.
Johan Eriksson has held the position as CEO for almost 20 years and has successfully established BankID as a highly important service throughout the Swedish society.
The company is entering a new phase and after careful considerations the board and Johan Eriksson have agreed that now is a good time to hand over to a new CEO to continue driving the company forward.

Under his leadership, BankID has grown from an innovative idea to an important infrastructural service for public authorities, companies and private individuals alike. We now look forward to the next step in the company’s development, says Lotta Lovén, Chairman of the Board.

– To have been trusted with the mission to establish and run Sweden’s largest eID system has truly been a fantastic journey. I am very proud to have, together with competent colleagues, built a secure and accessible eID that has made secure digital identifications and signatures possible for public authorities and companies as well as private individuals, says Johan Eriksson.
Head of Marketing and Business, Kaisa Fexe, will step in as deputy CEO effective immediately until a new CEO has been recruited.
