BankID receives the quality mark Swedish e-ID

BankID e-ID has been provided to Swedish authorities, companies, municipalities and regions for 18 years. We are proud that BankID has simplified everyday life for millions of Swedes and laid the foundation for digital life in Sweden. BankID is now also approved for the quality label Swedish e-ID and we think it is good that there are common quality requirements for e-IDs where we are included.

What is the Quality Mark Swedish e-ID?

The Swedish e-ID quality mark shows that an e-ID has been reviewed by the Swedish state and can be trusted. In accordance with its trust framework for Swedish electronic identification, DIGG, the Swedish Agency for Digital Government, is responsible for conducting an independent review for the quality mark. DIGG is the Swedish Agency for Digital Government, which is tasked with supporting, co-coordinating and following-up digitalisation within Swedish public administration.
