2025-04-24 BankID is working again. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our users and customers.

We confirm that we have experienced a denial-of-service attack that affected several of our users and customers. Between 20:49 and 23:45, there were issues using BankID. Some parts of the traffic coming from other countries were affected until 8 am Thursday morning. We want to make it clear that all our users' data remains protected and has been so throughout the entire attack. We have well-established safeguards to protect our users and our system. We once again apologize for the inconvenience caused to our users and customers.

We will report the incident to the relevant authorities and file a police report with the crime prevention agency. The investigation will determine the cause of this prolonged disruption.
