All use of the trademark BankID must be in compliance with laws and regulations, fair practices and this Trademark Guide. Any other use is prohibited and may lead to BID terminating the right to use the trademark. Such termination takes effect immediately.
BankID is an electronic identification service and the trademark BankID may only be used for providing information about this service, e.g. in the context of offering electronic identification via the service.
The trademark BankID may not be used in a way that might create the impression that anyone other than BID is the holder of the trademark.
The trademark BankID must be used in a way that precludes any impression that there is a commercial connection between the user and BankID (i.e. BID). It is not, for instance, permitted to combine the trademark BankID with an own trademark, or to imply that BID or BankID sponsor, support or are a part of any other company or service.
The trademark BankID must not be used in contexts that may be considered disruptive, upsetting or otherwise offensive, or might damage the trustworthiness or reputation of the trademark.
Only the word mark may be used when the trademark BankID is used in body text.
Only the logo may be used when the trademark BankID is displayed on its own without surrounding text.
The following applies when the trademark BankID is used together with other trademarks:
Use the word mark when the trademark is displayed among other word marks.
Use the logo when the trademark is displayed among other logos.
The trademark BankID may be reproduced in audio only for the purpose of providing information about BankID, and only if it is not combined with any other sounds while this information is being communicated.
